If you're a fan of a perfectly hot and gooey cheese toastie paired with steaming tomato soup, then this hack is for you.

This isn't just another trendy TikTok hack, this one actually seems like it's well worth a try.

Food Made Simple posted the following video, which recently went viral, and we think any cheese toastie lover must give it a go.

It looks like you'll need some slices of white bread, a can of tomato soup, and grated cheese (we recommend mozzarella or white cheddar).

The steps go like this: With the can of soup, roll it on the bread to make an indentation. Then, toast the bread. Pour a bit of soup into the indentation and top with grated cheese. Bake in the oven until the cheese is nicely golden (we think 375°F/190°C for about 10 minutes should do it).

The result? An all-in-one delectable cheese toastie complete with tomato soup baked right in!

  • I've seen it. From a chefs point of view I think it would be better with a slice of thick cut bread rather than the thin stuff. Then load it with more cheese 🧀

    • I just fear that the thin Soup might make the Bread a bit soggy. 🤷‍♂️

      Otherwise, it sounds really good.
