One pot lasagna recipe #FTBIRTHDAY
There's still time to join in at the chance of winning some coins!
Of course I have to jump in on the fun and throw a recipe out there. This is a dish similar to one I had at a family reunion. So one big potluck and after all these years I still remember it.
Ingredients:
1 package hot or sweet Italian sausage
1 pound of pasta, I used Trottole
28 ounce can chopped Italian tomatoes with herbs and olive oil
32 ounce container of low sodium beef broth
optional can of Italian tomato paste
optional cheeses...ricotta, shredded
directions:
Brown your sausage. After your sausage is browned, add beef broth and the can of diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. Cook til Al dente. Add tomato paste if desired. If using ricotta you can add to the pot and stir it in or just add straight to the bowl along with some shredded cheeses.

Looks great and easy.
Definitely!
This looks like something I can try! Some of that fake Italian sausage that you tried for 's challenge and some veggie broth will take care of my meat issue. 😏 No-salt tomatoes and making sure the broth is low sodium should make it good for my father-in-law. Thank you, Jane! 😊
You're welcome! I hope you enjoy!
I'm betting I will... 😋
It looks comforting and easy to do
Exactly! Plus cheap and easy
'1 package hot or sweet Italian sausage' - or Spanish I'm saying
I don't see why not. Something that will help season your sauce for you.
One pot recipe with simple ingredients, my fave! Might have to try this Jane
Awesome! Let me know if you do.
