Our dreams have come true: Twix finally launches Salted Caramel version
If you love Twix bars as much as I do, you'll be delighted to know you can now snag yourself a salted caramel version
The Mars company has just launched a new version of its much loved Twix bar. This new version replaces the standard caramel filling with a rather delicious salted caramel alternative, and plenty of people are very excited about it. And rightly so; what isn't improved by adding delicious granules of salt? Nothing I can think of.
This new product has been a long-awaited release for many; the salted caramel Twix has been on sale in some parts of Europe for some time, and fans have been pleading for a UK release.
The Mars company has finally relented, and now you can find this delicious chocolatey treat in UK supermarkets for just £1. As new food experiences go, this is one of the cheaper ones, but this price-point puts it in direct competition with a Greggs vegan sausage roll. That's a tough decision when you find yourself looking to lose that change rattling around in your pocket.
It’s expected that the product will soon be available in multipacks and different sizes: currently it’s only on sale as the larger ‘Xtra’, but abroad it can be had in a variety of options. So keep your eyes peeled next time you're in the aisles!
