How delicious it is. Just incredibly tasty. Tomato sauce goes always well with pasta! Adding basil (best fresh) and you get a dish, like from an Italian restaurant. Richard Hammond will like it.
Ingredients (for 2-3 servings):
200 gr pasta to choose from
1/2 cup vegan minced things (fried chopped tofu, seitan, chickpeas or lentils and cereal from them) or grilled mushrooms
1.5 tbsp. l olive oil
1 large onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
360 ml tomato sauce
2 tsp fresh basil, finely chopped
1.5 tsp salt
Cook the pasta to al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the pan with butter. Sauté the onion.
Add vegan minced things or mushrooms and cook over medium heat for another 2-3 minutes, until they are browned.
Add tomato sauce, dried basil, mix.
Add salt, pasta and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh basil.
