People are sneaking booze into bars in hand sanitiser bottles
...because apparently hospitality businesses haven't already suffered enough
Ever since pub began reopening in the UK, we've come across several videos and posts, mostly on TikTok, where people brag about sneaking booze - usually transparent liquids like vodka or gin - in hand sanitiser bottles to spike their drinks.
I gotta admit that's kinda fun. Except for a couple of things. As somebody correctly pointed out, "Next day you’re putting lens water in your contact case and it’s vodka”. Another user said it's "all fun and games until you accidentally use the real one”.
More to the point, the hospitality industry has suffered quite enough, so perhaps it would nice if people could just buy whatever it is they want to drink from bar, instead of coming up with unusual cockamamie ideas. Just 2 my cents.

Pretty sad with so many businesses suffering
This isn't new in Phoenix we all carry water with us out of habit and it is not unheard of for those bottles to have all kinds of booze in them. If yoy can't afford bar prices stay home!!!
It's a done to show off on Social Media! Pretty low, I'd say! One day one of those idiots will accidentally consume Sanitizer instead of alcohol and will end up in the hospital. I wonder if he/she will still think it's funny or dare!
Oh, we will soon read about intoxicated people in airplanes due to mixing alcohol with antibacterial ingredients 😅. Please buy the 🍷🥃🍹🍸 at the airport or plane.
