Pizza Hut and KFC join forces... again. The Popcorn Chicken pizza is back
It’s got a gravy base, people!
We thought it was weird when Pizza Hut launched its collaboration with KFC in 2020. But as things as still really weird in the world, we guess it makes sense that they've brought it back.
Yep, you read that right. The KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza is back, with its gravy base, and it’s available to order right now.
Way back in the depths of 2020...
What's on the KFC/Pizza Hut pizza?
Take a Pizza Hut classic crust pizza base, smother it in thick, unctuous KFC gravy, sprinkle with mozzarella, add some sweetcorn (for health, obvs, but also optional), and adorn with KFC Popcorn Chicken.
The two companies have got form for joining fast food forces. In 2019, Pizza Hut offered the ‘Gravy Supreme’, which had a cheesy bites crust, to celebrate National Pizza Day.
Sadly, you won’t be able to order one of these Frankenfood pizzas to eat in, because, well Covid is still very much a thing and nowhere's open. It will be available as a takeaway option only, in large size. Not that you’d order a small anyway...
However, you will be able to include it in Pizza Hut’s various deals! Bargain KFC/Pizza Hut pizza for all!
Pizza Hut’s KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza will only be around for four weeks, from 15 February.
