Pizza Hut is renowned for its ridiculous specials. We had the KFC popcorn chicken pizza last year, and now, well, Pizza Hut has gone one step further.

It looks like Christmas will be different this year. Perhaps we won't all be having a turkey roast on the big day... perhaps, we'll be having this.

The Christmas pizza is topped with rotisserie chicken, crispy bacon and sage and onion stuffing, all on a red wine gravy base. Yup, you read that right. A red wine gravy base.

Perhaps more crucially though for your Christmas meal enjoyment, there are none of those pesky sprouts anywhere to be seen! This limited-run pizza is available from all branches of Pizza Hut in the UK for as long as stocks last.

If the pizza wasn't just enough on its own, Pizza Hut will also offer you a Christmas pizza deal where you get three large Christmas pizzas, two sides and a free drink. It'll cost you £35 for the whole lot.

"We're thrilled to be offering this Christmas special to our customers and lucky for some, there's no turkey in sight this year," said Amelia Riba, Chief Sales and Brand Officer at Pizza Hut UK & Europe. "Instead we have opted for delicious rotisserie chicken and bacon, with the stuffing and red wine gravy base adding the extra festive taste for ultimate satisfaction. We cannot wait for you to try it."

    • I’m not sure if it is because we have been locked in for so long but I really fancy one of these

      • I haven't... shame on me! Terrible excuse I know, but I'm currently spending lockdown in deepest, darkest Devon, with no Pizza Hut in sight. I'm trying to persuade to get his chops...

    • I used to love Pizza Hut. About 15 yrs ago, I was violently ill after eating from there, and ever since I've been unable to eat them without stomach issues. A friend of mine who worked for them says it's a common complaint due to something they spray on to make them look shiny and the cheese go stringy, how true that is, I'm not sure, but I really miss them!!
