Pork pie for lunch today made to Jeremy Clarkson's own recipe. It really was actually quite good. I thought this stuff would be overpriced rubbish but it's actually very good, expensive but very good. Probably one of the best pork pies we've had.

  • Well damn! I'm jealous!

I purchased a couple pies from a local English grocery store here in the USA, and it turns out they were locally made. They were terrible. 😔

    • Oh no. I made one myself once based on a Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall recipe and it worked out well. If you fancy making one let me know and I'll send you a link.

  • You're right, commercial "authentic" variety are absolute shockers. We are lucky to have local English butcher, who makes all kind of things. This one though does look really delicious. Did you have it with pickled onions?
