Porterhouse On the Griddle!
Trying out the Blackstone with a thick porterhouse steak!
I've learned that cooking on the Blackstone griddle is great because I have less dishes to clean after dinner! Tonight I threw a thick Porterhouse steak on the griddle with mushrooms and onions for a quick and easy dinner. It came out excellent!
An hour before the steak went on the griddle I seasoned it with Steakhouse Rub from William Sonoma. I was really happy with the flavor of this stuff!

I was also very happy to have a helper while cooking dinner!
Cooking the Porterhouse on the griddle gave it a nice crust on the outside but it turned out very nicely medium rare through the middle!
