Recipe: Greek yoghurt cake with peaches
A recipe for a delicious cake made with Greek yoghurt
Greek yoghurt cake with peach pieces. Very fluffy, delicate, moist and obviously tasty. It's a nice dessert to enjoy on a Sunday afternoon with a cup of tea. Fast and easy to prepare, and there's no need to use a mixer.
INGREDIENTS:
Flour (500g)
Eggs (x3)
Baking powder (x2 teaspoons)
Oil (160 ml)
Sugar (250g - you can add less)
Greek yoghurt (400g)
4-5 peaches (or if someone prefers canned one, as in my case)
Additionally: Vanilla flavour or other (x1 teaspoon) , vanilla sugar (16g) and icing sugar to sprinkle the top before serving.
METHOD:
1. To a bowl add flour, baking powder, sugar, oil, eggs and Greek yoghurt. Mix all ingredients together until thick and well combined 👇
2. When the mixture is ready, put it into a mould lined with baking paper. Smooth the surface, set aside for a moment and cut the peaches into eights. Put peaches on the mixture. 👇
3. Bake at 180°C for about 40-50 minutes. Cool the cake down and sprinkle with icing sugar before serving 👇
