R​ecipe for upside-down cake with diced pineapple and strawberry sauce based on homemade jam. Cake is absolutely easy to prepare and what's more no mixer is needed here. Canned or freezed fruits will be good same as fresh one. I chose pineapple and strawberry jam because it reminds me about hot tempreratures and gernerally summer. Grab some pineapple and strawberries and prepare this extra summer upside-down cake.

SAUCE I​NGREDIENTS:

x​2 tablespoon of butter

x​100g of sugar

x​4-5 teaspoons of strawberry jam

C​AKE INGREDIENTS:

x​ 1 can of pineapple (drained and rinsed)

x​190 - 200g of flour

x​2 teaspoons of baking powder

x​190 ml of milk

x​115 g of soft butter

x​120 g of sugar

x​2 eggs

M​ETHOD:

1​. At the beginning prepare strawberry jam sauce. In the pan melt butter with sugar and add strawberry jam. Mix everything and heat a little bit ( for 2-3 minutes) to combine ingredients. Set aside to cool.

2. M​eanwhile, line the mould with baking paper. Use a bit butter to smear the bottom of baking tin lightly. Put on the bottom prepared sauce and put pineapple on it ( I bought canned diced pineapple)

3​. Next, mix flour with sugar, eggs, butter and milk. Pour prepared mix on fruits and bake in 180°C for 40-50 minutes. After baking leave cake to cool. Then remove cake from mould by putting plate on the top of the form and turn around.

I​t's kinda hot here again, so I enjoyed my piece of cake with vanilla ice cream and butterfly ( yes it was edible)
