Rejoice: Wagamama is reopening for delivery
After a successful trial at four branches, Wagamama has said it will reopen 67 kitchens across the UK over the next two weeks
Wagamama is reopening the kitchens at 67 of its branches for delivery food and takeaways.
The first 24 locations opened yesterday (21 May), with the next 20 to follow on 28 May.
Through a process of gradual batch reopenings, there will be a total of 67 restaurants serving the public again by the end of June.
Wagamama has initiated this reopening after a successful trial at four branches, which have been operating since 30 April.
Wagamama chief executive Emma Woods said, "Over the past couple of months our focus has been on creating a safe working environment for our team members and our two-week trial has enabled our teams to return to work safely.
"The next logical step for us is to open additional sites throughout the UK, this will still very much form a test and learn approach for the business.
"The response of our return has been extremely positive and we look forward to our guests being able to get their Wagamama fix."
Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats will be taking orders for delivery. Which of these is available depends on your location.
You can also order food for takeaway through the Wagamama website.
