Review: Arby's sandwiches, fries and jalapeno poppers

My wife was wanting some Arby's but I could not make up my mind what I wanted, so I ended up with a big beef and cheddar, curly fries, jalapeno poppers and a roast beef & jalapeno slider. The only reason I ended up with the jalapeno poppers was because I traded some of my curly fries for a couple of my wife's poppers.

I don't eat Arby's that often but I do kind of like them once in a while. The big beef and cheddar is not terrible, the roast beef is ok and the cheddar is definitely artificial with a slightly sweet and salty flavor that some how works. The roast beef & jalapeno slider was rather good and I would definitely get another one. The bun was nice and soft, the jalapenos were not bad and had just a hint of warmth.

I was very shocked at how good the jalapeno poppers were, they were not very spicy but were really tasty for fast food poppers, I would buy these again for sure.

Honestly though, the main reason you go to Arby's is for those curly fries, they are the best thing on the menu. They are even better with a dip consisting of three parts horsey sauce and half part BBQ sauce, your mix may vary.
