A couple of weeks ago I was able to pick up one of the new shaken other chocolate dairyfree milkshakes from Tesco's. I walked into Sainsburys this week and found the new strawberry flavour too. So I thought great I can do a taste test and review them for you!
Chocolate flavour
The chocolate flavour: So the milkshakes are both made from coconut milk and contain no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Now as much as I like coconut milk it sometimes can be overpowering especially when other flavours are being added. The chocolate milkshake works perfectly, it makes it taste more like a bounty bar but a fresh clean tasting one of that. Another great aspect of both the milkshakes is that they are low on calories under 200 each and they have ethically sourced the coconuts to make the shakes. So basically guilt free all round!
Strawberry flavour
The strawberry flavour: Like is said earlier with using coconut milk the coconut flavour can overpower other flavours and unfortunately it has in the instance of the strawberry flavour. Don't get me wrong it tastes fresh, clean and hits the spot for a milkshake hit. But personally when buying a strawberry milkshake I want to be able to taste strawberry not coconut with a faint strawberry flavour.
So to conclude I personally loved the chocolate milkshake. It ticked all the boxes for me and I will be buying it again. These both retail for £1.65 region which isn't too bad for a plant based product. I don't know if you have the same problem where you live but here in the UK plantbased foods can come with a high price tag compared to dairy or meat versions. I am just praying that with the influx of consumers turning to meat and dairy alternatives that the price points slowly start to come down.

I'd have to choose chocolate because a Bounty Bar drink sounds amazing.
Your have to try it now and let me know what you think!
I'm not sure I would choose either.

I chose strawberry for obvious reasons 🙂
