Sainsbury’s is launching something called the 'Pigs in Blankets Pitstop’ via Uber Eats . That is basically a whole menu dedicated to Britain's favourite festive treat, available exclusively via Uber Eats in Birmingham, Manchester and London from 10th-12th December. By giving customers the opportunity to have their favourite food delivered to their doorstep, the supermarket chain is expecting to sell over 21 million Pigs in Blankets this Christmas.

You can get Pigs and Dips with a wide variety of festive sauces, Pigs and Mash with Christmas gravy, Sprouts and Sprinkle with crispy Bacon. It's a very long list. And a tasty one. If meat is not your thing, don't worry, because vegan and vegetarian options are also available, including Veggie Pigs and Mash, Veggie Pigs and Dips and Sainsbury’s flagship Pups in Blankets. Can't have meat and veggie options without the sauce but Sainsbury's has thought of that as well, with the Pigs in Blankets Flavour Mayo, for example.

"The nation's love of Pigs in Blankets shows no swine [sign] of slowing down," said Claire Hughes, Director of Product and Innovation for Sainsbury’s. "Current predictions suggest we will snap up over 20 million of them this year. We’re delighted to have partnered with Uber Eats to bring our new Pigs in Blankets inspired menu straight to people’s doorsteps to make it even easier to pig out this December".

  • I remember them as a child here in the states. Denny’s, and other type chains and aimed them at children. I had no idea they cane from the UK and are so popular. Now they make bougie adult versions they can charge more for lol..
