Self-driving truck completes cross-country run carrying 40,000 pounds of butter

This is big news for cars and tech but I also think it's interesting that they chose butter for this run. They've could done it with an empty truck or some sort of symbolic freight but they've done with Land O'Lakes butter, one of the most important food manufacturers (although it is technically a cooperative) in the U.S., founded in Minnesota in 1921. The truck was operated by Plus.Ai, a Silicon Valley-based Chinese start-up currently developing self-driving technology, during its 2800-mile journey from Tulare, California to Quakertown, Pennsylvania.
