Seoul Korean Restaurant
A review of a very popular Korean Restaurant in Subic Bay Freeport Zone
Korean food and television shows are very popular in the Philippines. As a fan of good food at reasonable prices, this is one of the places with really affordable food for a good quality.
They have group meals for 3 or more people to share. The prices rages from 899 PHP (18 USD) to 1299.PHP (26 USD). The one showed in the photos cost 999 PHP (20 USD). This includes side dishes and iced tea. To keep it short, it is really good. You can cook the meat to your preference making sure the experience is something anyone can enjoy. The place has a very homey and relaxing atmosphere. The staff and owner are polite and really attentive making sure that the costumer has a great experience. The side dishes are also good. I recommend going for one of the group meals specially if your eating with your friends and/or your family. Similarly, I was with my family when I took these photos.
Alternatively, they also have other Korean meals. The cost varies from 150 PHP (3 USD) to 500 PHP (10 USD). The photo shows a Tteokbokki I ordered. It is quite spicy but it is not overpowering. If you don't like spicy foods, you better steer clear of this one. They also have a Korean Fried Chicken (sorry, I forgot to take a photo) which is really crispy on the outside and yet moist and juicy on the inside but it is quite heavy on the breading.
There is one problem, the parking space is quite small. It can only hold 8 to 12 vehicles at any given time. On busy hours it is almost always full. This is how I got a picture of the place's sign on a bad angle. There is a car parked in front of it. Although, you can always park at the nearby mall or the near by hotel parking space and walk to the venue.
Overall it is a great place to enjoy Korean food. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, and good location, everything you'd want in a good restaurant experience.
This is my first time writing a review on a restaurant. I would appreciate and corrections and/or tips on writing these kinds of articles. I might do a Filipino Restaurant or PUB next.
