Parmesan Paprika Potatoes

These were done in the air fryer because it's faster than cooking it in the oven, but if you don't have an air fryer, the oven works as well.

Serves3
Mealsides

Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size chunks; I used russet
  • 1 TBS. flour
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese ( this actually works better with the stuff that comes in the shakable containers. Know one will ever know)
  • 1/2 tsp salt or more to taste
  • cracked pepper to taste
  • olive oil
  • 1 TBS Paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

Air Fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F or 200° C
  2. In a zip top bag add flour, parmesan cheese, paprika, salt and pepper and combine.
  3. add in the potatoes and 1 TBS of oil. Close the bag and shake to coat.
  4. Pour into the basket of the air fryer and toss with a drizzle of oil.
  5. Cook for 8 minutes then toss the potatoes. Drizzle with a little more olive oil and cook for another 5 minutes or until potatoes are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside
  6. Note that cooking time may depend on the size and brand of the air fryer

Oven Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F or 220°C
  2. In a zip top bag add flour, parmesan cheese, paprika salt and pepper and combine.
  3. add in the potatoes 1 TBS of oil. Close the bag and shake to coat.
  4. spray a baking sheet with non stick spray and pour potatoes on to the baking sheet. Drizzle with a little more olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes then toss the potatoes and drizzle with more oil if needed. Bake for another 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside
