Slow Cooker Meatballs in Sauce
I don’t make these often because I can’t eat a lot of marinara sauce due to acid reflux & I’ll likely regret this later. I can’t help it though because I love it & this recipe is just so simple. The hardest part is waiting the 3 hours because the house smells SO good.
I blend 1 lb of ground beef & 1 lb of ground pork together with breadcrumb & seasonings for the meatball mixture. Then using a ice cream scoop I form the balls so they’re all uniform in size. I add them all to the slow cooker & then add 1 large can of sauce & set on high for 3 hours. Near the end I add a bit of cream & fresh basil to the sauce.
This tastes so great. I wish I could eat this more than once or twice a year.
