Smash it, yeah, smash it real good
I needed to have a smash burger. No spatulas were harmed in the making of this burger.
This has turned into my favorite burger by far. It even helps you to take out some of your aggression from the day. Incase you have never seen one made I have taken a few extra pictures to help you create your own smash burger. Start with 1/4-1/3 lb of ground chuck, preferably. Place that ball of meat in your preheated skillet, preferably cast iron. Let it sizzle about a minute and then smash it, smash it good. Put some thinly sliced onion on top of your patty. Allow to cook for a couple of minutes, you will see the edges start to brown and then give it a flip and smash it. Let it go for about a minute and top it with American cheese. Don't forget to toast your bun! Place your cheesy smash burger on your toasty bun and top it how you like. When you pick this up to take a bite, you are probably going to grin cause you know this is going to be good.
