A while ago, I posted a Recipe on how to make Beer Cookies, the most German Cookies there are/ can be. I also discovered that I really enjoy a nice Ginger Brew, especially some delicious Bundaberg from Australia.
Today, some Switch clicked in my Head, and I decided to Combine the Recipe with the Gingery Drink.
My Ingreditients.
At first, I thought that the Dough was going to be very dry, but after I had added some Butter, it turned out to be very Smooth.
The Dough itself was very Delicous and quite Firm, but I did not make it to just eat some raw Cookies. I made it to make Cookies.
Mixing the Dough.
After the Mixture was well mixed, I then rolled it out to be about 5mm thick. I am really not a Fan of thin Cookies.
I then cut square Cookies with my Knife and put them on Trays to go into the oven.
In the Oven.
The only thing I did wrong was that I took the Cookies out of the Oven a little early. They came out very Pale. But that doesn't matter. They are really delicious.
And they almost doubled in Height while Baking. I think that is because of the Combination of carbonated Ginger Beer with Baking Soda.
