So I was feeling a little Italian.
My new favorite sandwich.
I have always liked Italian subs but I have always bought them from pizza and sub shops. So I decided I wanted a homemade one because homemade is always better and this sandwich proves it.
To be honest I can not even pronounce most of the ingredients so here we go. This sub is made with a fresh baguette with prosciutto italiano, coppa italiana, salame milano, sopressata, and salame calabrese. (Sorry my Italian foodtribers if I butchered any of that .) I then add some smoked provolone and some peperoncini slices. I put it in the oven long enough to get the cheese all melty and nice. When it was done in the oven I drizzled a little Italian dressing on top and some lettuce and onion.
This was so amazingly good I wanted to slap myself for buying them at pizza and sub shops and not making them homemade. I can not recommend this enough you all.
