Apparently there's been a big rise in soft pretzels on restaurant menus

Need we say more? Probably not, but we will.
Now there’s a snack that’s good for any time of day (or night, we’re not judging): soft pretzel fries.
What did we even do before these beauties existed?
They’re the latest taste sensation from J&J Snack Foods Corp, which claims they’re the country’s number one soft pretzel brand (we’ll be the judge of that thank you very much).
According to the company: " Tired of the same old French fries on the menu? Soft pretzel fries are the perfect way to mix it up and can be enjoyed as a side or delicious appetizer dipped in your favorite sauces. And as an added bonus, it's vegan and baked, not fried! "
Ok, first of all - no one ever gets tired of seeing French fries on a menu. It’s a scientific fact. But we are so down for having these delicious looking pretzel fries *in addition* to our regular potato-heavy diet.
Just think of the sauce combos you could have! Ketchup… ranch… little French mustard.
According to the purveyors of this fine product, there has been a 25% increase in soft pretzels served on menus as a side dish since 2017. And when it comes to apps, there has been an 8% rise across the top 1,500 restaurants and leading convenience stores.
Hey, you can’t fault J&J Snack Foods Corp for their commitment to pretzel-specific stats.
