Some proper brussel sprouts
Everything is better with bacon!
I figure I would walk you through how I make my brussel sprouts. I cut up 8 ounces of bacon and start that frying up in your pan while you prep your sprouts. I have 24 ounces of fresh brussel sprouts, if possible try to stay away from frozen ones. I cut off the base of the sprouts and then cut them in half.
When your bacon is close to being done cooking throw in your brussel sprouts. Stir well coating them with that bacon goodness. Meanwhile I minced up a couple cloves of garlic and cut up a couple of green onions. After brussel sprout have reached close to desired tenderness add in your garlic, onion, some cayenne for a bit of kick and salt to your preference. Cook for about a minute longer infusing all the flavor you just added. Make sure you don't cook them too death, they should still have a vibrant color to them. Enjoy!
