Here's what we've had on our travels... India. France. Italy. Jordan. Singapore. All featured here.
The second wave of the virus has hit. We're suddenly looking down the barrel of 10,000 cases. Mercifully we've lost only 19 so far... update 24 K cases and 124 people have left us.
From Midnight today, till 5:00am on the 2nd December, the Western Province of Sri Lanka goes into curfew. I'd like to say that we're better prepared than we were in February-March this year... let's wait and see.
In the meantime, I've been going through all my photo albums and have rediscovered some amazing memories and not so amazing shots of food. So this post is going to be about the dishes we've had.
The best Thai dish? At the Oberoi in Kolkata. It came highly recommended by a friend - who was right!
Beef Tatare in the Shadow of the Louvre. The waiter keep saying "It's raw" and I kept saying "Yes, I know!"
Giant Godhamba at Wadi Rum - It's called Shrak, I believe. Goes perfectly with the meats cooked Bedouin BBQ style
The best Dog ever - available at Moss Burger. Those who know, know!
Amazing Biriyani, again in Kolkata - But why's the restaurant called Peter Cat? Never found out...
Dinner in Singapore. Safe and - dare I say it - a bit boring!
The one that didn't go down well at all - Spaghetti al nero de seppie, Italy. Maybe with the right wine...?
It's nice to sit back and reminisce. Any memories of travel you'd like to share? Coment below!

I think I'd like to try the spaghetti as I'm a big calamari fan.
What was that first Thai fish dish you shared? That'd have to be my pick.
Hi, John. It was Pla nung Khing. Steamed bekti with ginger, spring onions and soya. Bekti is barramundi...
and sorry for the delay replying this. We’re in total lockdown as of today and the b$#*dy net was down!
It still is, actually.
Everything looks super. Steak tartare is my favourite. Now Melbourne is out of Stage 4 lockdown, my wife and I with couple of friends are going to our favourite steak restaurant "Steak Bank". We will all be having steak tartare for entree and I will be having mix grill consisting of beef, lamb, home made sausage, liver, kidney. I also add poached eggs. No chips! I can strongly recommend this restaurant. Steak tartare is not on their menu, but when you book just say that Albert recommended, John ( the owner) will know what you talking about. By the way, if anyone from Regensberg is reading this of if anyone is now or will be there, Kreutzer's Restaurant is a must. Their steaks are superb, but their salmon is also great, but tell to waiter you want it rare.
I also go for fish. It looks really good!
