Rellenong Bangus is one of my favorite dish especially when there is a party. I love to dip it in Banana ketchup or any other ketchup available. Rellenong Bangus is a Filipino dish of Milkfish stuffed with minced milkfish meat, carrots, potato, raisins, capsicum, pickles and spices.(Milkfish is very famous in the Philippines and it known as our National Fish )

Making this dish is quite intensive labour. Rellenong bangus is more a special occasion dish than an everyday family dinner for a reason. that's why I never try to do it (yet). It is my Mom, who I think is a pro in deboning, flaking, sauteing, stuffing, sewing (yes, sewing!) and frying all for the sake of one meal. But with that said and done, rellenong bangus is certainly a unique and delicious Pinoy dish worthy of time and effort.

  • Impressive! It looks like a fish on the outside and a meatloaf inside; there's gotta be lots of work in that.
