Summer garden update – here's what vegetables I'm growing this year
My garden is growing despite my neglect! 🌞
My family's life has been chaotic over the past couple of months, so I haven't had as much time to devote to my plants as I would like. Luckily, Mother Nature has been kind, providing just the right amount of sun and rain to keep everyone happy!
Baby Carolina Reaper is growing up! Hopefully he'll produce some fruit before it's too late...
Lots of tomatoes are on the way!
The artichoke plants are beginning to resemble their thistle cousins, while the hops outgrows its pot - I need to transplant it to a bigger pot soon!
My runner beans are growing like weeds! The hummingbirds are enjoying the blooms. There are cucamelons and morning glories hiding among the beans, too.
Lots of happy pepper plants of various types, despite the nasty crabgrass that I need to weed out...
Basil, onions, and the ubiquitous crabgrass.
Very enthusiastic zucchini plants!
These pretty little flowers will be peas someday soon.
A couple of young Mammoth Gold pumpkins are hiding among the weeds.
A frighteningly ginormous Atlantic Dill Giant pumpkin plant
The raspberries are almost done for the season.
