yeah same here. Ideally, I'd like to say Sashimi 'cause I somehow feels this would me look more... "woke", but then I realize I'm a simpleton and say Sushi instead
Both?! Although you can't get proper stuff in the UK. I'd love to go to Japan and get some actual variety, plus I've always loved watching the skill of the chefs
I haven't been to Japan but every single person I know that's tried Sushi in Japan says exactly the same thing: "oh no, Japanese sushi is nothing like the stuff we eat back home"
Its nothing against raw fish, the sushi I get is usually raw. When I tried some sushimi it might have been sliced too thick but I didn't like the texture while trying to chew it.

I like both, but I lean heavily towards Sushi every time

That's the impression I've always got. I think it'd be nice to try some different fresh fish though, as we're quite restricted
Sushi for me!
same here, I guess (I'm conflicted)

What is sashimi?
basically fresh raw fish
Sushi is the one for me. Always thought fish should be cooked. Wouldn't eat raw chicken
