Tap Water Review: Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

It was really quite good, except when it wasn't...

A few weekends back, my wife and I decided to head to the Universal Boardwalk, which is the "free" part of Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. Much to my disappointment, it is not free to park (unlike Disney Springs which is), so after paying $26, we ventured onto the boardwalk to see what there was to do. We roamed around for a bit, did some shopping, and then decided that between not packing water and the 90 degree heat, it was time to eat and get something to drink.

We decided on Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. as neither of us had ever been before and it seemed like it might be a fun place to go. The food was really quite delicious, and the tap water was excellent! Our waitress played Forrest Gump trivia with a few of our tables, and it was an all around fun time.

Unfortunately, the drama of this visit doesn't stem from the water, but from the food- my wife and I both god food poisoning we think. I don't want to condemn Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. as we can't be certain it was from them, but we both had a less than ideal evening once we arrived back home. On another note, the food that people in our surrounding tables wasted really bugged me. It really baffles me how people are willing to spend so much to eat out and than not even take any of it home let alone try and eat it all at the restaurant. All in all however, the visit was good, and the water was quite excellent!
