Thanksgiving 2020: What's on your table this year?

It's been rough, but hopefully we can all share a great Thanksgiving, however it shapes up...

2020 has been a rough year for all of us. It has been taking a toll on everyone mentally, financially, and physically. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. But that doesn't mean we have to shut down the holiday season, absolutely not! I know this household is going to be busy, for the first time in a long while:

We are making Mac And Cheese, Stuffing, Turkey AND Ham, Deviled Eggs, Sweet Potato Pie (I think) and lord knows what else they have planned 🙄.

So I figured I would sit and put this together, in the hopes of having a bit of fun. We can share our ideas, have great conversation. And who knows, maybe you will learn a thing or two, steal some recipes (looking at you Fulana! 😂❤) and have your spirits lifted a bit.

It's what we're here for right? So hit me up! What food and/or drink is going on your table this year? Corona will NOT keep us FoodTribers down! 😁

Also, while I'm here, this is what I play every year, while I cook. Or when I don't. I do get complaints, but do I care? Nope! Let's get to chatting!

Unsplash has some pretty pics...hmmm. And that's not enough wine in those glasses. Or is it just me?

    • As long as there is turkey mashed potatoes gravy and deviled eggs and pumpkin pie I am good. 🙂

    • We will be having two this Thanksgiving celebrations to keep numbers small. One with family and one with friends. All limited to six people. On the menu are smoked turkey legs, herb roasted turkey breast, baked corn, cornbread stuffing (my favorite), cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and of course traditional mashed potatoes. For dessert we are having pumpkin pie, chocolate chip pumpkin cheesecake, and apple cobbler, followed shortly thereafter by a food coma. 🤤

    • My son in law likes to barbecue a turkey. Not sure about this but there will be an oven alternative so I’m good with it. :)

      • When my son in law barbecued the turkey last year, he used Cajun seasonings which I didn’t care for. I think he is going to try something different this year:) We will see :)
