E​xactly one month ago, the Altenauer Brewery in the Harz here in Germany closed its gates. The Brewery had operated for almost 400 years consecutively before that.

J​ust a few days ago, it was then announced that the brewery had been saved, not without some serious public pressure and a Facebook Group, but still.

I​t is not yet clear when production will resume under the new owners. Investments have to be made, after all. The signs point to sometime in April.
