The best food shows to watch during quarantine
These are the food shows I'm watching...
I want to start off by saying that I hope you're all doing well during this time. I'm the type of person who watches food shows anyway but now that I have slightly more time to watch TV, I am, at least at night. So I wanted to share with you what I've been watching.
Season 17 of Top Chef just premiered on Bravo, there have been two episodes so far, and I've been loving it. This is an all-star season and it's full of some of the best to compete on the show. The level of cooking already and the dishes I've seen is incredible. They are once again doing Last Chance Kitchen for the eliminated chefs so they can try to come back into the competition. I really like that now they're going up immediately on the Bravo YouTube channel and not just on BravoTV.com and the app.
The Great British Bake Off
I'm a big fan of Bake Off, it's exactly the type of show I like, but I never get to see it new because it doesn't air in America. However, it is on Netflix and although it's not the more recent/current season I'm happy to be able to watch it at all.
Eat The Menu
I've mentioned The Try Guys and their food endeavors before with their show Without A Recipe, but something else I love on their channel is Eat The Menu. This is done by Keith Habersberger and it's him literally eating through the menu of popular restaurants. He does bring on guests in every episode but it makes me laugh a lot and I'm always interested to see if his opinions of certain restaurants/foods line up with mine. I also want to give a special mention to a new video on their channel that I just watched that was a mystery box home cooking show, basically Chopped without being Chopped. It gave me some great ideas.
If you guys are watching any of the same shows I'd love to know which and if you have any show recommendations, doesn't have to be food related, for me I'd love to hear them.
