The Feijoa bush, after years and years of just taking water and mystifying us all, has finally decided to give us some fruit.
There’s probably a deep metaphor for life in that but I’ve got fruit to finish here

OOH! You're apparently quite lucky to have one of those at home and can apparently only usually get them in fancy farmers' markets! I'd never heard of them before. Now really want to try one...

Yes, I can't say I've ever seen them for sale - friends have a bountiful bush though, and well, ours has decided to be a responsible member of the garden now.

I thought those were white guayabas (guava), that is how I called them 😅, but these are not guavas and are called feijoa 😆
They are apparently sometimes called pineapple guavas, but they're not guavas. Or pineapples. Should we put them on pizza though?
It could be in pizza because 🍍 guavas are neither pineapple nor guavas 😆.
I have never heard of such a fruit.
