The gold-medal menu of an olympian
Here is Micheal Phelps 2008 diet and it includes 12,000 calories a day!
One the most successful olympians to ever compete, Micheal Phelps doesn't let anyone down with his diet either; consuming around 12,000 calories day for the 2008 olympics in order to train and stay in top form. Here's the low-down on his high-up calorie munching diet:
1) Egg Sandwiches - Loaded with cheese, fried onions and mayo.
2) After those - Chocolate chip pancakes, French toast and a five-egg omelet
That in itself is more than an average man needs in one day! But...
1) Two ham and cheese sandwiches
2) Two energy drinks
3) A pound of pasta (usually spaghetti)
1) A whole pizza
2) A pound of pasta (again)
You'd be pleased to hear that Phelps has now decided to cut back, admitting it to be a bit excessive but his new idea still involves a lot of calories, but maybe of the healthier kind!
Breakfast - Present
3) Large bowl of oatmeal
4) Ham and cheese omelet
1) Meatball sub
1) Whole grains
2) Lean meat
How much could you stomach?
