The hard seltzer craze marches on with boozy ice-cream
In partnership with Tipsy Scoop
It's hard to tell when exactly it began, but Hard Seltzer is definitely a thing now. For those who don't know, Hard Seltzer is basically a refreshing, fruity, low-calorie alternative to beer: sparkling water, with booze, and fruity flavours. Mind you, we might have to rethink the "low calorie" part on this specific product because this is, bliss, Hard Seltzer Ice Cream.
Truly Hard Seltzer partnered up with ice cream specialists Tipsy Scoop to create a new line of boozy ice-creams and sorbets with four available flavors: Strawberry Lemonade, Mango Lemonade, Original Lemonade and Black Cherry Lemonade. It sounds decidedly tasty.
Quoting from the Tipsy Scoop website, "No need for elaborate cocktails or homemade hard seltzer slushies when you could have an entire booze infused-dessert right at your fingertips, thanks to Truly of course". They do have a point.
The ABV is 5% and you can get a pack with one can a pint of each ice cream/sorbet for $60, eight products in total, or just the ice cream (four flavors) for $48.
The ice cream can be ordered via TipsyScoop.com website or in one of six locations, dubbed "barlours". There are locations in New York City, in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Citi Field baseball park; and one each in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Las Vegas and Dallas.
