Let's start with, this is my first vanilla cake. Not my first buttercream icing but my first mirror glaze. The vanilla cake recipe came from Food Network and the wonderful smell that filled the kitchen was enough to make your mouth water.
The icing before the glaze was just a buttercream icing. Powdered sugar, butter and vanilla extract. I froze the cake overnight.
Directions for the mirror glaze I followed emmymadeinjapan's video. I hope you all found this worth the wait and the tease. #CHALLENGE
