These are the UK’s best kekabs
Yes, and they were chosen at The British Kebab Awards
First of all, I think we should all take a moment to remind ourselves that the British Kebab Awards are a thing. They exist. And they’re a big deal, too.
The 2021 edition took place in the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge Hotel a little over a week ago and the winners were announced by BBC Radio 1 DJs / presenters Christ Stark and Scott Mills.
Along with the award for the best kebab, the best takeaway, best customer satisfaction, best value and chef of the year also received a prize, along with awards for ’Best Lebanese restaurant’, ’Best Greek restaurant’ and, my personal favourite, Kekab Van of the Year.
