Things grandparents do for their grandkids

Childhood food memory.

When I was just a little girl, my Grandma would actually take two slices of bologna and slice it up into little cubes. She would add a little mayo and relish, mix it well and put it between a couple slices of white bread. One of my favorite food memories because it is obviously full of love. I can not recommend eating this now...lol Do you have any fond food memories?

  • Things my grandma did include the angel cake I told you about the other day. And she baked that cake on every of my birthdays after that until her passing. One of my greatest memories of my mema 🥰

  • My grandma on my dads side always had jello pudding pops for us to eat in the summer :-) and let us go thru the junk drawer for loose change...my grandma on my moms side had the best cookies for camping trips, kept them fresh in old coffee tins :-) and made the best fresh fried fish on camping trips too
