This Canadian vinaigrette levelled up my salads and my life

37w ago

One of my friends visited Canada a few months ago (pre-corona virus) and she surprised me with two sachets of Renee's Honey Dijon vinaigrette when she returned. Best. Surprise. Ever. I'd never thought too much about vinaigrettes and dressings before but this is now my favourite dressing of all time, and has ingrained within me a new-found appreciation for dressings, sauces and condiments. Honestly, I don't normally like mustard because I find it overpowering sometimes, but this has the best of both worlds: sweetness with a delicate tangy bite. It adds a whole world of flavour to my very simple salad made with romaine lettuce, sweetcorn, cucumber and topped with prawns. What dressings would you recommend? (Can't wait to learn and try more after this lockdown!!)

  • Sounds nice I want to try it. I like vinaigrettes. But my go to is blue cheese,

  • Vinaigrette are lovely for light salads. My favorite dressing would have to be this warm bacon dressing I make. It has a sweet and sour tang with the smokiness from bacon.
