This carnivore finally tries the Impossible Whopper

As many of you all know I have always said I would never give this burger a chance. Then I saw Jane Fyffe's post where she does a side by side comparison of the normal Whopper and the Impossible Whopper. I will leave a link here so you can go see it for yourself. In short she says she would eat it again.

I simply could not believe that this abomination of a burger could be that decent. Since I had to get the Texas double Whopper anyway I might as well get one and give it a day in court and a swift execution. Time to nail this coffin shut.

So after I finished the Texas double Whopper ( I wasn't going to let it ruin my appetite) I grabbed the pretend Whopper out of the bag and unwrapped it. My first thought upon seeing it was "Why am I doing this."

I quickly noticed that this burger has the same odd smell as the Texas double Whopper just a little stronger. I took my first bite braced for the worst and immediately I knew it was not meat. Then I took the second bite and started to think, it's not terrible.

Believe it or not you all I ate half of it before I had to stop. Remember I already ate the Texas double, fries and a milkshake before trying this. Now had it not been for eating all that before hand I can honestly say I would have finished it. Now its not fooling anybody it does not taste like meat and it does not have the texture of meat but it's not terrible. It is rather dry so it was nice having all that ketchup and mayo on it.

Now the real question is, would I order it again? The answer is easy no I will not. But I must say it is not as bad as I expected. If I want a burger I want one with meat. If you are on the fence with this I say go for it. I still say the odor is the worst thing and it is in the normal burgers as well. BK really needs to fix this problem.
