Least Friday, I had a very nice Bacon Jam Burger in a Restaurant on my Way back home from an ultimately fruitful Internship. That Thing was super tasty, and very filling.
Truth be told, I had a real hankering to have some Desert though. I had seen a handful of different Cheesecakes on the Menu, and I just had to try one.
My little Sweet Tooth was nagging. There was no easy Way around it.

So, after some consideration, and after asking my Waiter, I decided to go with a more fancy Lemon Cheesecake instead of the standard New York Cheesecake ou can get everywhere.
It was a new Item on the Menu, and it sounded intriguing right from the start.
The good Thing is: The Cheesecake was actually very tasty, and even a bit juicy. The White Chocolate up top provided a nice Contrast to the lemony Cream below. I really did like the Cake.
It was actually so good.
But it also was not all Perfection. I definitely wished that there had been more 'Cheese' and a bit less Cake. There was just a bit too much Pastry for my liking.
While that did not detract from the overall experience, I was left wondering if the Cheesecake could have been a little, or perhaps even much better. It could have also used a bit more Lemonoil or whatever kind of Flavouring they used.
In my Opinion, a Lemon Cheesecake shall taste very much like sweet creamy Lemons with Cake.
The White Chocolate was a really nice Touch though.

Yes, lemon cheesecakes, cakes, etc should taste like lemon. And cheesecake should have more cheesy filling 🙆♀️ .I like when the citric flavor is a bit tart and it can be balanced out with something sweet or creamy. For that reason, I love lemon meringue pie.
Lemon Meringue Pie is awesome! Or even a nice piece of Key Lime Pie. And I totally agree, Cheesecake needs more ‘Cheese’.

They are great when they taste like Lemons. This should really just have been called ‘Cheesecake with White Chocolate’. 😔

Yes, that's a bit of a cheese-iced cake rather than a cheesecake. I'd still slap on some ice cream and love it though.
