This Christmas season, put some Skittles Candy Canes under your tree

They're like regular candy canes, except they taste good!

If you dislike peppermint candy canes but still want to partake in the Christmas spirit, Skittles Candy Canes might be the solution you've been looking for.

Redstone Foods, a distributor of specialty candy, glass bottle soda, and "fancy food items", posted the new Christmas offering from Skittles on their products page a few days ago. The candy canes are reportedly going to be officially announced at The Sweets & Snacks Expo, an event for candy and snack retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers that will take place in Indianapolis from June 23 to 25.

Rather than having one flavor per cane, each one will be packed with all five original Skittles flavors: Strawberry, Orange, Lemon, Green Apple, and Grape. You'll really be tasting the rainbow with each lick, that's for sure. Each box will contain 12 candy canes with a total weight of 150g, bringing the weight of each candy cane to 12.5g.

Skittles previously sold a similar Christmas-themed item which was just a candy cane container filled with regular Skittles candy. The fact that these are actual Skittles-flavored candy canes is a big improvement, at least in my book of sweets. What do you guys think? Would you buy a 12-pack of Skittles Candy Canes?
