This Rolls-Royce whisky and cigar chest costs more than a VW Golf

Like most luxury brands, Rolls-Royce knows its customers. They know what they want, what they like and what they buy. And so, naturally, they’re happy to oblige.

Rolls-Royce actually has an entire branch dedicated to consumer goods that aren’t cars - they call it the ‘Connoisseur’s Collection’ - and this is the latest addition: a Whisky and Cigar Chest that costs more than a VW Golf.

There’s a leather-lined, black anodised aluminium bottle holder designed to accommodate a whisky bottle and the kit also includes a Spanish Cedarwood-lined humidor [with a hygrometer], a cigar cutter and a lighter, both made by S.T. Dupont.

It looks good. If I were a cigar smoker or collector I’d certainly want this in my collection but there’s only major problem: it costs £40,570 + taxes.
