Everybody loves brunch. If you ever find yourself in west London, here's where you should be heading...

Oh my days - I have lived in Notting Hill for over 15 years and could never find the right breakfast spot - there are dozens of options, but this is truly the perfect one... every time.. from the cute venue, the staff, to the menu, there really is only one winner for me - it’s got to be Egg Break!

Genuinely about 12 different ways and combos of your favourite breakfast options; you can take a journey across the planet discovering how different countries devour their eggy treats. There’s even a bastardised McMuffin, which is unreal.

Major props to the chef because their chicken burger is probably one of the best chicken burgers I have ever tasted.

If you live in or visit London you must go and visit Farmgirl Cafe - ideally on a Saturday afternoon, just before a good potter around Notting Hill. Every dish is as tempting as the next, and for me – a genuine meat eating hound – I was pleasantly surprised by their coconut bacon.

The presentation is next level, every dish is like art when it comes spinning out of their open plan kitchen. The vibe is wonderful the crowd is just perfect, the setting is perfect for day dreaming the afternoon away.

The know what they’re talking about too - they recommend bee pollen on a dish to improve one thing or another, either way I was lost in their words and ordered half the menu. Loved the experience – go there now.

Granger & Co

This is the place where you take your mum and you’re feeling flush. This is where you take your girl when you're in trouble and you need to make up... this is ‘the’ brunch spot ... IF you can nab a seat.

Always a bit of a queue, always a stream of gorgeous, well heeled and glamorous people streaming in and out. When people say ladies who lunch, this is where you’ll find them.

I love the menu here, it doesn’t disappoint. The staff are busy busy but absolutely fantastic, doing whatever they can, whenever they can for you.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

It would be wrong not to mention the crown jewel of Chelsea: The Ivy.

Beautiful inside and out, the outside is always a flush with fresh flowers – it has set the standard across town. The legends are true, everything that you’ve heard with hushed tones and wincing eyes over a large glass of red… it is that expensive, but fuck me it's worth it. Feel like a King on King’s Road, just for one day. Or maybe a weekend. Roam the garden like a repugnant toad, dance with porcelain flamingos, swill champagne with the best of them and pretend to be on your best behaviour in your best clobber all in the name of being in Chelsea for the day.

Oh, and the food is brilliant. It's the Ivy. Obviously!

It is as if Farmacy came fluttering out of nowhere... bursting into Westbourne Grove a beacon of goodness, a white hot light, shining in the groves of Notting Hill. All of a sudden this heavenly concept just swung on into the area - easily the best healthy, vegan restaurant (as in proper sit down date night vibes) in the area. The design is impressive, there's life in every corner, it's very tranquil - and the staff are fantastic, only making your experience better and improving on your experience.
