Truck transporting ten tonnes of ramen noodles crashes into lake
The accident almost accidentally broke a Guiness World Record.
Last week, a semi truck transporting 20,000lbs of ramen noodles ended up toppling into Lake Conway in Arkansas. Thankfully, there are no injury reports.
After hearing of the accident, thousands took to Facebook and other social media platforms in order to make fun of the driver, with one having said “Not sure this is what they meant when they said to “just add water”.”
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has confirmed that the lake was not contaminated due to the accident. If it had been contaminated, the accident would have almost certainly beaten the current Guinness World Record for largest serving of soup which is currently just 2,996 pounds - that‘s roughly one tenth of the ramen inside of the truck.
