Trying to find the best falafel in Berlin: Zula
And the hunt for the best falafel in Berlin continues...
NEXT STOP: Zula, Husemannstraße 10 , 10435 Berlin , Prenzlauer Berg
At Zula the falafel are made with spinach, and I was very keen to try them!
As you can see, the spinach gave them a nice green colour and they tasted really delicious, fluffy and soft in the middle with the perfect crunch.
Now, at Zula they specialise at hummus, so I need to mention it as well! They have a big variety of options to choose from. We got the one with the mushrooms and it did not disappoint. It was creamy with a subtle taste of tahini, just amazing. Oh, I have to give some credit to their fantastic pita bread, it was as fluffy as a donut and the perfectly cooked chips.
Verdict:
I really enjoyed the food here, and I'd happily eat here again! Now I'm not 100% convinced that this is the best falafel in Berlin, but I definitely enjoyed it!
