This is not a drill folks... Krispy Kreme is delivering! We have waited so long for this moment, we've got through lockdown, but it's finally here and it's even better than we thought it would be.

Don't waste your time perusing the endless menu on the website to decide what you want delivered – if you want a specific doughnut from them, go to them. But, for delivery, we make it ourselves.

That's right. You order a box called a Creation Kit, but what you get is a little box of heaven! Four classic glazed doughnuts you will be tempted to eat before you have even closed the front door... but you mustn't! Because they are also sending an icing bag filled with chocolate, and another filled with amazing oozy caramel.

That is enough to make the best doughnut you've ever had, but Krispy Kreme has gone the extra mile and sent toppings, too. Lotus Biscoff crumb, cookie crumb, chocolate & honeycomb pieces and white chocolate curls. Everyone's favourite is in there.

Microwave the icing and apply as you like – obviously we suggest liberally! Then decorate with a bit of everything and enjoy.

KK is also delivering personalised messages on its classic doughnuts for you to gift to loved ones. Or, has there ever been a better time for self gifting? You deserve it.

The standard messages are, 'Happy Birthday', 'I miss you', and 'Thank you', or you can send your own message up to 16 characters, which will be carefully hand piped onto the doughnuts and delivered on a day of your choice. Maybe you could do, I don't know... 'FoodTribe 4eva'?

The Creation Kit and the Say It box are both available for pre-order on the Krispy Kreme website with the first delivery date 30 June. It does ask for two days' notice for delivery on specific dates, so be careful not to miss out.
