Veganuary: Subway's got a brand-new vegan sub and cookie for 2021
I definitely want to try their Tastes Like Chicken... chicken
Having recently added the meatless meatball marinara, Subway continues to expand its vegan and plant-based menu by introducing the new Vegan Double Chock Cookie and the new vegan T.L.C., which stands for Tastes Like Chicken.
The T.L.C. (gotta give them credit for the name by the way) is made from 100% plant-based ingredients but apparently tastes exactly like actual chicken breast strips.
Angelina Gosal, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Subway believes that the new T.L.C. Sub will "delight both our vegan and non-vegan fans - we’ve created a product that tastes so much like our flavour-full chicken breast strips, guests will be surprised it’s not the real thing".
And don't worry if you have a sweet tooth because in addition to that, Subway is also introducing a new Vegan Double Chock Cookie. It looks good, which usually means it probably tastes good.
