Vintage Treats: How much do you love gummy bears?
Vintage treats that are still being enjoyed today
There's no treat as vintage – or as delicious – as gummy bears. They come in all shapes and sizes, and in several different flavours. Basically, they're the best.
HARIBO Goldbären.
At least here in Germany, no gummy bear is as famous as the HARIBO Goldbär. First made in 1922, it bears (haha) its trademark name with pride. It's been wearing the badge since 1960, to avoid their product being confused with similar confectionaries made by other companies.
FUN FACT: HARIBO stands for Hans Riegel, its founder, and Bonn, where the company came to be.
Currently, gummy bears are still mostly artificially flavoured, but natural flavouring is on the rise. Some are even made with quite a bit of fruit juice in them.
An Assortment of Gummy Bears.
If I'm being completely honest, I haven't always liked gummy bears, and I still only like them periodically, but I know they're a lot of people's absolute favourites.
Do you love gummy bears?!

Those are just crack in a bag. 😁
Once it’s open, you can’t Stop. (That’s why I usually prefer the little ones.)
That is so true.
Yes I do, my father not so really, he told once "hard to chew" 😂
They are supposed to be! Soft Gummy Bears are yuck.
Haha, true. As long as it's not a liquorice or anise gummy bears or sort of that I'm happy 🤣🤣. Once received them and I thought that I would die.
I like those chewy 🐻. There is a store in NYC where you can buy different flavors from coffee to cocktails. I tried coffee, they were good.
I think I know that Store. Around Times Square?
Yes, there is one near times square.
Never did, never will.
Why, texture or flavor??
Texture, flavor, appearance, looks like it's made of plastic (which it probably is 😊), tastes like plastic, all in all 🤮
I love gummies! Black forest organic are my fav. They are soft and very fruity
Never had those. Also not a big fan of soft Gummies.
