Vulture Culture... The day Beijing met Rome
You make plans for a home-cooked chinese meal, only to realize that the main ingredient isn't there. Welcome to the world of the vulture culture.
Let's not go into the who's who's and what's of how this happened, but the stir-fry noodles, weren't. They were stir fried... spaghetti. The steamed bok choi, was. But it was drizzled with Thousand Island dressing. The pork ribs were marinaded with a mixture of soya sauce and honey with a dash of Worcestershire Sauce to balance everything out (and after the grilling, the pan was deglazed with some plonk to make the gravy).
They say the proof of the pudding is in the eating - there was nothing remaining for even a #Felixfakeaway afterwards!
